An appeal for donations for NWSA Culture Center
Northwest Sherpa Association has been formed since 2003. The objective is to welcome and assist the newly arrived Sherpa friends and families and those already living in the Northwest by coordinating various social events. In order to preserve and promote the declining culture, nature, monasteries and other monuments according to Sherpa community ancient traditional and languages and so on. NWSA is a persistent authority bearing transferable association, non-profit making, non- political, autonomous. It does not take any fee, charge and consultancy beyond its objectives without any financial motive and it is only for social networking by coordinating various activities in the community.
Therefore, NWSA has initiated its dream project to build a Northwest Sherpa Culture Center in Seattle, Washington. Accumulating different economical and material resources to build Center are inaugurated. Everyone will be benefitted from the Center. The Center will be a hub for different religious rites and cultural programs. The approximate amount of building the center will be $1,000,000. We would like to request you to donate for our righteous this project. An ounce of your donations will be listed on our website and souvenir book in order to accumulate the merits of happiness.
नर्थवेस्ट शेर्पा एशोसिएसन सन् २००३ मा स्थापना भएको हो । यसको मूल उद्देश्य भनेको उत्तर पश्चिम क्षेत्रमा आप्रवासका रुपमा आएका शेर्पा समुदायका मित्रहरू तथा परिवारहरुलाई विभिन्न सामाजिक क्रियाकलापहरुद्वारा सहयोग गर्नू हो । हराउँदै गएको शेर्पा संस्कृति, भाषा, प्रकृति, गोन्पाहरु साथै विभिन्न साँस्कृतिक प्राचीन सम्पदाहरुको जगेर्ना तथा प्रवद्र्धन गर्ने यसको मूल उद्देश्य रहेको छ ।
नर्थवेस्ट शेर्पा एशोसिएसन एउटा हस्तान्तरणीय, गैरलाभ, गैरराजनीतिक र स्वायत्त भएको सर्वविदितै छ । यसले आफ्नो उद्देश्यविना र आर्थिक प्रयोजनविना कुनै पनि प्रकारको शुल्क लिदैन ।
यसर्थ, नर्थवेस्ट शेर्पाले आफ्नो उद्देश्यहरुलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै नर्थवेस्ट शेर्पा संस्कृति केन्द्रको भवन बनाउने महत्वाकांक्षी योजना अघि सारेको छ । यसका लागि चाहिने आर्थिक तथा भौतिक सामाग्रीहरु जुटाउन प्रयासरत छ । शेर्पा संस्कृतिबाट सदस्यहरुले विभिन्न लाभ उठाउन सक्नेछन् । विभिन्न धार्मिक अभ्यासहरु, साँस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमहरु र शेर्पा समुदायसँग सरोकार राख्ने विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरु गर्न यो भवन प्रयोग गरिनेछ । करिब १ मिलियन अमेरिकन डलर यो भवन बनाउन लाग्ने भएकाले सक्दो सहयोग गर्नुहुन सरोकारवाला निकाय सम्पूर्णमा अपिल गरिन्छ । तपाईंले गर्नुभएको प्रत्येक सहयोगको सूची वेबसाइट तथा पुस्तकमार्फत पेश गरिनेछ ।
