NORTHWEST SHERPA ASSOCIATION

Northwest Sherpa Association is a non-profit organization, established in Seattle Washington in the year of 2003. It is a tax-exempt charitable organization under the section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The mission of Northwest Sherpa Association is to preserve and promote Sherpa language, tradition, culture and unite all the Sherpas residing in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America including Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Vancouver B.C, Canada.

Promote & Preserve

To promote and preserve the Sherpa language, religion, culture and traditions.

ESTABLISH NETWORK

To establish a network among Sherpa’s living in the Pacific Northwest of the United States of America.

SHERPA CULTURE CENTER

To create and establish a Northwest Sherpa Culture Center in Washington State.

ASSIST NWSA MEMBERS

To assist NWSA members and families that is in need.

SHERPA EVENTS

To organize social, cultural, and religious events related to the Sherpa community.
