Sherpa Cultural Center Hall Timeline

September 17, 2024

With great joy and pride, we announce the purchase of land for the new Sherpa Cultural Center in Lake Stevens, Snohomish County. This marks a significant milestone in our journey, paving the way for the construction of the Lhagang Project: Sherpa Cultural Center Hall building.

February 2025

We conducted comprehensive boundary and topographic survey for the Lhagang Project, launched the Lhagang Project webpage design on the website, and completed the pre-conceptual planning, and blueprint development for the project.

September 2025

Develop detailed conceptual plan, prepare elevation drawings and create 3D renderings, conduct a pre-application conference for permits and technical reviews, and finalize detailed architectural drawings and designs.

March 2026

Groundbreaking ceremony for the Lhagang Project: The Sherpa Cultural Center Hall.

August 2026

Site preparation and foundation work begins.

February 2027

Construction of the first floor begins.

August 2028

Construction of the second floor begins.
